【Seminar on Funding Schemes for Small and Medium Firms】

On 10 January, the Trade and Industry Department (“TID”) and the Standing Committee on Member Services co-organised a seminar on Government funding schemes to support SME law firms. The Seminar was attended by over 40 members. We are thankful to our panel of speakers from the Department of Justice, TID, the Innovation and Technology Commission and Hong Kong Productivity Council who shared with members on topics including CEPA (Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement), the BUD Fund (Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales), and the Technology Voucher Programme. Apart from introducing these schemes and their updated arrangements, an onsite consultation was arranged at the end of the Seminar for possible support that SME firms could get from these schemes.
